The Charleston Vampire

The first vampire Family arrives in America

In the year of our Lord 1752, the last of my family died from another outbreak of cholera near the English seaport of Liverpool, and I was indentured to a family in the crown colony of South Carolina.  A week after the funeral, when corpses were stacked like cords of wood and set ablaze, I was put on a ship bound for Charles Town.  It was on that ship that I became acquainted with Lucius Fallows, an attractive young man with dark hair, dark eyes and an even darker soul.
